Jacob: “Make it happen or make excuses. Your life is what you make it, it’s only you vs you.”

Jacob: “The style of AMV is just my personal style on a higher platform. It will be forever evolving, I don’t really like framing it under one particular type of style, I’m just aiming to be different in my own way and sticking to what I like. It’s better to be different than a duplicate.”

Jacob: “A lot of my inspiration comes from my upbringing listening to a lot of heavy metal and punk music.
I was always more influenced by the underground alternative scene and culture as opposed to whatever was really popping mainstream. As I got older I got more into fashion where those interests translated into my style, its kind of a blend between my music inspiration and fashion inspiration.
Growing up my dad’s persona was riding Harleys, wearing leather and blasting all that 80s heavy rock shit so it kind of stemmed from him too. I’m also enticed by space, stars, the moon and nature which infuses its way into my work.
We live in a beautiful world that is dominated by corruption and greed; which my designs correlate with.
